Some people fear what's in the dark but within Iparia, we fear the light.
100 years ago, an evil curse was placed on the world. As long as the sun shines and the sky is blue, Monsters will walk the earth with only one thing in mind. To kill any human or creature in their sight.
On the night of the Lunar Festival; fourteen year old Neil Barker dares Sophie Hemingway to sneak into the Broken Palace where it was rumored to be where the curse came from. Not backing down from a challenge, Sophie willingly agrees.
Unbeknownst to them, a Wicked roams the once elegant halls of the palace with a conscious mind and a dark voice. With its voice, it tells the destructive pair that they might be the key to finding the reported Monster Princess; a little girl with a golden crown who controls the evil that walks.
