When CIA Counterterrorism Expert Meredith Crenshaw recieves a call in the middle of the night summoning her to the White House, she learns of a terrible plot against the United States Government: China, a long time enemy of America, has developed a powerful weapon system called PERSEUS, which they plan to unleash on Washington in six days whent the arrival of the Perseid Meteor Shower will bring the weapon to the height of its powers.
