If you have forgotten your password, the only option is to reset it. To
do this enter your email below and you will be emailed a link to reset
your password.
The Reset Password Process Explained
We don't keep track of your password, so we cannot email it to you. In
order to log in if you've forgotten your password, it must be reset.
But, you first must be emailed the link (or code) to reset your password.
Otherwise, anybody could come to this web page, enter your email, and
reset your password without your permission. So, if you want to reset
it, you have to go through the "Email Me the Reset Link" step to make
sure you are really you.
Once you receive the reset link, you will use it to reset your password.
This changes your current password to a new, random value and emails you what
the new password is. Yes, you get yet another email. This one containing
the new password.
After you receive the 2nd email, then you should log in, go into your
Members Area and change the password to something only you know.
The entire process is:
- Use the Forgot Password form (this page) to
email yourself the reset link.
- You will then receive an email with a temporary reset link (or code)
that is available for 24 hours.
- Use the reset link (or code) to reset the password on your account. This
process emails you a second email containing the new password.
- When you receive the 2nd email, use the new password to gain access
to your account.
What Do You Track Instead of My Password?
We track a hash of your password. A hash is a small, digital fingerprint
of your password. We can derive the has from your password when you log
on, but we cannot derive the password from the hash.
